B.Good PoW - Week 2 Staff Friday September 28, 2007 The Under Appreciated Get Some Love 5v5 East ñ Sean Walsh, Oktoberfest ñ In the much anticipated season opener between Oktoberfest and the Big Nice, MixTape was able to win his first bet of the season thanks to Walsh, well his 22 points and 19 boards.  Did we mention the 7 blocks yet? No? Well he set the tone in the paint, and for once didnít foul out when he came anywhere near the opposition. A good start to the season, and enjoy the burger!   5v5 West ñ Basil Ward, CTown Fire ñ With a myriad of weapons at their disposal, CTown Fire turned to Basil in the opener and he didnít disappoint, dropping 28 points and leading the squad to an easy win.  I have a feeling this squad is going to dominate the b.good PoW in the West Coast League.    A1 ñ Mike Turin, West Broadway Brothel ñ MixTape had a career night (19 points, 9 boards) as he was the difference maker in his teamís win.  The quest to roll through the league undefeated and win bets with every captain in the league is still intact thanks to his outstanding performance.  Without it, WBB doesnít win their game last week.    B1 North ñ Adam Kneeland, Vance Refrigeration ñ Another week in the North, and itís another tough call.  The Rattling AK had a monster second half (18 points) in the post and the game winning assist to get help his boys to their opening win.  Donít worry Good King, theyíre healthy burgers and wonít affect your trim figure.   B1 East ñ Dan Toohill, Cake & Bales ñ ëTwoGunsí Toohill did just as much dishing as last week, but this time became a duel threat by dropping 20 points.  All of them were needed, as they had a much tougher test on their hands then was expected, and they move to 2-0 with the chance to be the lone unbeaten after a showdown with Mustard Gas next week.    B1 West ñ Billy Fratelli, Raindrops ñ In the mano a mano matchup with the Majic Man, Billy scored him for 33 points, 12 boards, and more importantly, his team got the win.  Fratelli has stepped his game up, playing in two leagues this season, and now that heís back in shape, heís going to be a threat to top teams all season long.   B2 East ñ Jason Lohmiller, Average Joeís - You would have thought that Lohmiller got a hold of the stats sheet on Tuesday night to pad it up, but I assure you that it was under lock and keep in my top-secret chambers and that his 27 pts (4 from behind the big arch), 11 rebounds along with his multiple steals, blocks and assists were completely legit. If that doesn't deserve some big & juicy, med-rare recognition I don't know what does.   B2 West ñ Dan Guinther, Jessells Grille ñ He put the ICE in Jessell's Grilleeeeee. Danny G flossed up the Grille with 19 points (nearly half of them coming from the ft line). He also dished out 2 blocks and 2 assists and grabbed 10 boards. Someone git this kid a meaty burgahhhhh.   C ñ Brian Gelow, Expos ñ After gettin' after it hard on Monday night with some IN YO FACE stuffs and defeating the only team I have serious doubts of ever beating, Brian G-Lo earns every bite of this weeks burger.
