Parking
As you come over the Charlestown Bridge from Boston or Cambridge you can park in the parking lot of the Bunker Hill Mall (where the Johnny Foodmasters and the 99 Restaurant is). The entrance for the mall is on your left as the Boys and Girls Club is one block up the hill the mall. If you park there, park near the Friendly's Restaurant as that side of the mall is closer to Green St, where the Boys and Girls Club is. You then will walk up 1 block, cross over Main St. and walk up Green St. (Which is up a huge hill). The B&G Club is on Green St, but to enter you need to use the High St. entrance. Walk up Green St, take a left on High St and the entrance is on High St.
You may also park on Main St as that street is public parking, you do not need a resident sticker. As you come over the Charlestown bridge from Boston pass the entrance for the mall (which is on your left). Drive straight to the next set of lights. At that set of lights take a left and that is Main St. Walk up Green St, take a left on High St and the entrance is on High St.
Directions
From the North:
Take 93 South to the Charlestown/Sullivan Square exit. Keep left off the exit, toward Sullivan Square. As the road splits, bear right keeping Sullivan Station on the right. Bear right at the light and follow to take your second right (at the Schraffs Building). Take the first right onto Main Street. Turn left at third light onto Green Street. The Club is on the left.
From Route 1 South:
Take the Tobin Bridge to the Charlestown exit. At the light, turn left and bear right onto the Austin Street exit. Turn right on Austin and follow past the shopping plaza, through the light onto Green Street. The club is on your left.
From the South:
Take 93 North. Take the Sullivan Square/Somerville exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right at the light. At the next right you will be entering a rotary. Take your second right (at the Schraffs Building). Take the first right onto Main Street. Turn left at third light onto Green Street. The Club is on the left.
By Public Transportation:
By Bus:
Take the 92 Bus from Haymarket to the intersection of Warren and Church Street. Walk towards Dexter Row - one block to the right of traffic light. Turn right onto Green Street.
By Subway:
Take the MBTA subway Orange Line to the Community College stop. Walk left out of the station and walk toward the shopping plaza/99 restaurant. Just past the plaza, cross over Main Street and continue up the hill (Green Street). The Club will be on the left.
