Winter 2012 5v5 Draft League: Tuesday Nights (Individual Entry) – Starts January 24th
C.A.C. Basketball is the most organized, well run, and unique collection of recreational basketball leagues in the Boston area offering both 4v4 and 5v5 league play for all skill levels. The popularity of the Draft Leagues (with 18 teams this past season), combined with new players looking to get involved has created a new league! The 5v5 Draft League is perfect for free agents who want to become a part of C.A.C. Basketball, don't have their own team, but still want to play and run on a full 5v5 court.
The 5v5 draft league is a "draft only" league, which means you join individually and do not enter a full team. If you are looking to enter a full team, than you can enter it into any of our 5v5 leagues. The league will have all of the same perks as the every other CAC League with full stats, league recaps, awards, lines and message board banter. Join the fun!

Winter 2012 5v5 (A) League: Tuesday nights (Team Entry) - Starts January 24th C.A.C. Basketball is the most organized, well run, and unique collection of recreational basketball leagues in the Boston area. The 5v5 (A) league is a full court league played on regulation size courts (92 feet) located in the Charlestown and Medford areas. This is C.A.C.'s top level league. Make no mistake about it, this league is STACKED with a lot of talented players. Each team has 5-6 former high-level college players and have played together for a few season. The age range is 22-40 with the average player age of 30. This league is VERY competitive with two (2) referees, scoreboards, complete stats, write-ups of games, interviews, message boards, jerseys, awards, and more. All players are welcome to join as many leagues as they wish. Play with a team, then put yourself into a Draft League @ C.A.C.!

Winter 2012 5v5 (B1) League: Wednesday or Thursday nights (Team Entry) - Starts January 25th or January 26th With requests from players seeking more 5v5 league options, the "B" playing level at C.A.C. is by far the most popular. The B1 level league is just a step below the A league in terms of level of play, but the league is just as competitive within itself. The East will play on Wednesday nights and the West on Thursday nights. Choose which division you're in and play on that night all season long.The 5v5 (B1) league is a full court league played on regulation courts (92 feet) at Charlestown Boys & Girls Club or Charlestown YMCA. The type of player in the (B1) leagues is a someone who played basketball at the collegiate level. This league is intense with two (2) referees, scoreboards, complete stats, write-ups of games, interviews, message boards, jerseys, awards, and more. This 5v5 League is going to be for the "Average Joe" basketball player that wants a competitive run, but without the high level of skill that the A or B1 leagues present.The 5v5 (B2) league is a full court league played on regulation courts (92 feet) at the Morse, Kennedy or Kent Schools. The competitive level of this league is for players that played in high school, but may not have continued on past that or play regularly in pick-up games and leagues.Like every C.A.C. Basketball league, the B2 5v5 will include the same perks that have made our leagues so successful. B2 5v5 will have two (2) referees, scoreboards, complete stats, write-ups of games, interviews, message boards, jerseys, awards, and more. These teams are pretty diverse: some free agent, some team entry, and some over 40 teams. Like every other C.A.C. Basketball league, the C 5v5 league will get the all-star treatment. The price includes a referee for each game, scoreboards, complete stats, write-ups of games, interviews, message boards, jerseys, awards, and more.All players and teams are welcome to join as many leagues as they wish. You may join as an individual, where you will be put on a team with fellow "free agents", or you may submit your own team. Basketball leagues. This will be the 7th consecutive season offered by C.A.C. Basketball. The league is so popular, we now have 3 nights of play. Your team can choose to play on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night, with each division getting it's own dedicated score-keeper. This gives you the same great perks of every other C.A.C. League! Come join the fun!A perfect opportunity to have fun and get a workout in a relaxed, laid back atmosphere. The Co-Ed league is ideal for those who are looking to play in an organized league that is built for fun, not competitiveness. This league is going to have all of the same rules and regulations as our other leagues; the only difference is that each team must have at least two women on the court at all times. This rulle have been in effect for 3 seasons now and it gives the league a true co-ed experience!

Fall 2011 Women's 5v5 League: Wednesday Nights (Individual or Team Entry) - Starts September 14th
This League is heading into its 9th season (wrapping up its third year!) and continues to gain in popularity. After a 7 team season in the Spring, we expect the league to grow again in the Fall season, so spots will fill up fast. If you want a different night, or more affordable option to play, trim your roster and play in the Women’s 4v4 league that will be returning to C.A.C. on Monday nights!
The league is run just as well as all of our other leagues. Each game has an official and league score-keeper. You get a reversible jersey, write-ups and stats for all games and the fee is all inclusive. There is no extra charge on a weekly basis for the refs, location, or scorekeeper! The website has all of this information as well as teams, schedules, standings, videos, message boards, pictures, and more. You may join as an individual (where you will be put on a team with fellow "free agents"), or you may submit your own team. The average (A Draft) player played for their high school team, started for a couple of years, and was a pretty solid player. Every team in this league will have at least one or two former player that played at the collegiate level, usually division 3. The age range in this league is 22-40 with the average player age of 30. It's faster, each player touches the ball more, and the pace of the game is quick. We are building on the popularity of both the B2 Leagues and our (A Draft) leagues and bringing the (B Draft) League back for the fifth consecutive season! In the Fall 2011 season, the league blew up and had 10 teams competing for the title.Everyone signs up as a free agent and league appointed captains will draft the teams based on playing style, talent and personal tastes. Like the (A Draft) League, this will ensure that the league is balanced top to bottom and makes for many great games.This league is perfect for those who are looking to play in a league that is challenging but not as high in basketball skill as some of the others, but is very competitive within it's own league. All teams will be made up of players who like to play basketball, get a run in and to push them athletically. The (B Draft) league is going to have all the same perks, and expectations as all the other leagues run by C.A.C. Basketball; with a referee for each game, scoreboards, complete stats, write-ups of games, interviews, message boards, jerseys, awards, and more. It's faster, each player touches the ball more, and the pace of the game is very quick.Our Sunday Morning League is rapidly becoming one of the most popular and well run leagues that C.A.C. offers. The competition level is a mix of 4v4 level (A2) and (B1) players while giving players an option to play on the weekends instead of during the week.The Sunday Morning League is a 'team entry' only league. If you want to play as an individual on the weekend, free agent teams will be forming in the new Saturday Morning League. All players and teams are welcome to join as many leagues as they wish. You have the option of putting yourself or your team in the SML league, then joining one of the Draft Leagues as an individual!
