Spida Men 79  ZARDS 60

Too Much Jamal Brown

Ryan Macpherson got off to a hot start getting in his bag of post moves, they couldn't stop him. Jamal Brown looked emotionally invested in the game coming out and doing everything, scoring, rebounding, and running the fast break. It was a close game until the second half where Jamal Browns energy seemed to be too much for the ZARDS, and the Spida Men came out with the 60-79 win. Hopefully next time these teams meet the ZARDS will figure out a way to pace the big man and balance out there effort on offense.

GTL 64  Badgey's Back 69

Hand Down Man Down

Badgey's Back came out making and taking high quality shots. This game had a steady tempo and slowed down during the end of the first going through the second. Badgey's Back would start missing shots early in the second but maintained their lead by getting to the line due to GTL's Physical defense. Eventually GTL would stop fouling and go on a run late in the second, with Sam Taub turning into a whole nutha monster. Hitting step back threes and getting to the line with the continuation, but it would be too late. Badgey's Back would close it out with free throws. Badgey's back had a well rounded approach with everybody contributing on both ends.

Treys For Days 69  Heat Check 72

Ice In His Veins

This game started off lopsided Heat Check only had 4 players. Treys For Days had no problem living up to their name, passing the ball around and hitting the open shot. Ryan Romich would come out flaming hitting every three he took and occasionally getting in the lane. Andre Tongo would keep his team in it with his three point shooting display. Heat check would finally get their fifth player on the court and go on a run taking the lead. this game would come down to one possession with Ryan Romich hitting a clutch three to tie the game at 69-69. With 8 Seconds left in the second half Andre Tongo would make an action to the corner 3, and with perfect form and lift would knock down the game winning three with 3 seconds left. The boy got ice in his veins.
