H1 Wins OT Thriller

Championship Wednesday and you always knew we'd have a close finish despite H1 racing out to a 37-22 halftime lead...despite getting the short end of the whistle, 7-0! In the first half. The only call Begley made on that end was an erroneous travel on Elliot, who was actually fouled for an and-1 while making a legal drive to the basket. #NeedBetterRefs

Things evened out in the second half but ED (Da Fuq you name your team? Y'all work for Viagra?) crawled back into it with hustle from Will and McDonough, and a couple 3s from Max made it 49-45. Will had a huge steal and and-1 to cap a 15-2 run, but got a Tech for clapping in the defenders face and that gave H1 some momentum back. Elliot canned both FTs and got heat with 2 huge 3s to make it 60-57. Will made up for it with a bank 3 to send it to OT. I think Ratul and Phil hit key FTs in OT to give H1 the lead and ED missed a few attempts in the final seconds.
