Before we get started, a few things: 

1 - make sure to sign your Health Questionnaire before showing up tonight!

2 - If you play at 6 PM, please wait outside on Howard street until I get there to open up.

3 - If you don’t have a jersey, this will be your last chance to grab one. I will bring them to the gym again tonight but after that you have to go to CAC! It’s $10 for a jersey, you can pay online ahead of time of give me cash money tonight

4 - We're a well-oiled machine now that most of the waiver/HQ/jersey issues are out of the way. I've flipped the lights off and walked out of the gym right at 10PM the last two nights this week. Be ready to go right at your game's scheduled tip time!  

6 PM Brooks Ballers  vs. GOON SQUAD (-15.5)
Jabari and Bennett are going to have their hands full tonight with the GOON SQUAD. That team is better than I remembered and you know rookies never get any respect around here until they earn it! Stratford went off for 30 against BB last week, is Ricardo going to do the same? 

7 PM Space & Pace  vs. Nuketown (+6.5)
Game of the Night! We’ve got the former champs looking to return to glory against the up and coming rookies who had a statement win their first time on the court. Nuketown’s energy and effort prevailed over Stay Out of This last week. They don’t have the size to guard the Marino’s 1v1, but if they’re swarming the court they may be able to cause a bunch of turnovers. Nuketown didn’t shoot many 3s last week but they shot THIRTY TWO free throws. That’s a lot. S&P shot the second most last week at 24. I have a feeling whichever team shoots a better percentage at the line will pull this one out.

8 PM Dirty Jim & the Boys  vs. DRBL (+12.5)
I don’t think DRBL has the horses to keep up with Stratford, let alone the rest of The Boys. Cody’s the only player to crack the 30 point barrier in any league this season and based on how his teammates shot last week, should keep hunting for his own. I’m sure he’ll give them a chance for a few minutes. Man I’m annoyed the schedule makers gave The Boys such an easy start to the season. These are the teams they’re going to get to play a second time too.

I really hope that was enough motivational inspiration for DRBL to come out and shock the league.

9 PM Stay Out of This  vs. Big Tuna (+3.5)
Who’s showing for Harry tonight? If I knew that I’d know if they have any hope of guarding Lisella. I’m going to assume they don’t. Vladi and Kaplan have never been known for their D. But on the flipside, Joey got almost no scoring help last week. Damn it, I can’t favor Big Tuna after all. The line opened with them favored at 4.5 but that got absolutely hammered. I really would have loved for the league favorite Stay Out of This to open 0-2 on the season
