We fly into week 6 with our wings up baby. The playoff picture is murkier than ever, but that’s OK. We shall battle it out into the heat of summer.

Sportsbook Championship Odds:

MCHU: 2.5/1

Lose Like Hell for Markelle: 3.5/1

Clown Question Bro: 4/1

MtCACMore: 8/1

Slow Jams: 9/1

The Big Ern McCracken’s: 9.5/1

Against all Odds: 17.5/1

Kaplanned Parenthood: 20/1

McCusker to the Bahamas: 25/1

Tempus-Fuck it: 100000000000000/1

“What’s bothering the Bull?”

I had an AC system put into my condo, but I can’t figure out the damn controls or what each icon means. It’s friggin frustrating. Did they give me a guide to figure that out? Maybe……….But should they have known I was going to lose it? I say yes! Anyways, this lead to me trying to figure this shit out, until I brought back my fan, which is awesome. I’m a fan guy!

Kaplanned Parenthood vs. Tempus Fuck-it 6PM Game:

Boy, does KP need this game. They’ve had a brutal schedule and have fought tooth and nail in all those games, just to end up near the bottom of the standings. They look a lot better than their record and deserve better, but hey, numbers don’t lie, check the scoreboard. This week they get the rock in the ocean, aka the sinking ship known as Tempus fuck-it. The poor Bully has been paddling upstream trying to get his team a win and they haven’t gotten anything.

Speaking of the Bully, I wonder who guards him this week? Kap has guarded some of the bigger guys, including McAuliffe in our game, but the Bully isn’t called the Bully for no reason and I don’t see Kap being able to hang with him. That leaves Sammy or Pizza, Pizza…….uh……..Pizza, has a big man’s body, but the Bully would eat him up like I did my leftover Dominos Pizza slice after a night of drinking…….Sammy would stand a better chance and he needs this game, just for the sake of impressing me. I can’t have my big man being guarded by little guys and having the little guys win. I JUST CAN’T!

On the other end, Kap may be in line for a 40 point game, since Rudy gives up points like Drew Pomeranz gives up home runs. I gave him a compliment and then he shit all over it with his play! How dare you sir! I’m also demanding a 25-15 game from Sammy………..I want what I want, ok mane?

I don’t see Tempus Fuck-it winning this one or any game that doesn’t involve numerous absences……But I can see the Bully putting on a HOF effort, which is all I really care about it.

Kaplanned Parenthood -7.5 over Tempus Fuck-it

Big Ern McCracken’s vs. Man Chest Hair United 6:50PM Game:

The freight train known as Matthew “JJ” Fermon rolled on last week, even if he did have a JR Smith like 2 for 19 from deep showing. MCHU has now pulled out two straight OT games, which means variance is coming! Or maybe they just like to win OT games, but whatever the case may be, their undefeated season is on shaking ground. Speaking of shaky ground, that brings me to the Big Ern McCracken’s, who have looked pretty mediocre throughout the season. No, picking on Rudy’s team doesn’t win points, just like picking on the Cleveland Browns, everyone does that.

One good thing to report for team Chas, is the reappearance of one Samuel “J” Pollock, who put up a 40 spot last week. They could really use that kind of production, because the rest of the team has been pretty inconsistent with points and if it’s one thing you need to beat Fermon, it’s a lot of points. The good thing for them is that they have two good capable defenders in Cavano and Pollock, maybe even Chas to, who they can put on Fermon throughout the game. I would start with Pollock.

That’s, because the rookie Civate, who is suddenly in Lester’s face, when it comes to rookie of the year honors has been feasting down low. Teams haven’t been able to find an answer for him on the block, which is crucial since you’re dealing with Fermon on the outside. I think Cavano will be able to hang tough, but to win they need him to shut down Civate.

I don’t see this week being the one where MCHU falls. They’ve been on such a roll offensively and no team has had an answer yet. BEM haven’t been that consistent offensively and they need to be in this one, real bad.

Man Chest Hair United -5.5 over Big Ern McCracken’s

Lose Like Hell for Markelle vs. MtCACMore 7:40PM Game:

Game of the week alert here fellas. My team takes on Noah’s, which should be a good one. Noah tried to pretend last night like he didn’t know we were playing and I was just like:

Image result for ya right gifImage Enlarger

MtCACMore is coming off an awful loss against Clown Question Bro, where there team chemistry looked like the Chicago Bulls this past season. Joel wasn’t in attendance for that one, but one has to wonder if this might be a sign of things to come or just one bad day at the office. STAT has been doing great at the Point-Forward spot, racking up dimes and getting his teammates good looks. When he’s been there, Joel has been an MVP candidate, which I will personally stop tonight, unless I decide to shut down STAT.

As for my team, we had a disappointing loss last week. I somehow have a losing to record to Seth/Vella teams in my career, which is even weirder than Brady’s record in Denver. Must be the high altitude…..Anyways, my squad needs to start picking things up offensively. We need more points from Quinn and I need to take more than one shot, no matter how great that shot was.  Etheridge is out for this one, so McAuliffe and Park will need big performances and they will deliver.

Lose like Hell for Markelle -1.5 over MtCACMore

Against All odds vs. Clown Question Bro 8:30PM Game:

Nate will continue his quest for MVP against the 4-1 Clown Question Bro, it what many didn’t think would be a close match-up coming in. Against All Odds has been riding a wave of big (lucky) wins, on big shots in the last few seconds of games. We have no injury report on Shebertes and I don’t see him coming back, but who needs him, when you got Nate?

I’ve been inspired by Against All Odds play, they’ve been working the “team work, makes the dream work” motto for all its worth. Everyone on their team has been contributing, from Ryan Shaffer to Mike McGovern. You just can’t say enough about this team’s blue collar style. One player, who shall remain nameless, asked me “Who’s Doherty” and I responded “3 and D”, then Doherty picked off a pass, to take it to the house. Yep, I yelled, “3 and D”. I played with him before and I like his style. He went too late in the draft.

On the other side, Clown Question Bro has been baling, maybe the best ball of any team in the league. The new aggressive Ian has been a huge boast out there, with Ghost hitting his J, Lester doing all the other stuff and Koller hitting Koller like shots, they’ve been real tough. I’m not sure how Against All odds is going to be able to hang with them, BUT they’ve been proving us all wrong for the past three wins and might have a lucky horseshoe up their ass, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they did win, but I can’t see it.

Clown Question Bro -6.5 over Against All Odds

Slow Jams vs. McCusker to the Bahamas 9:20PM Game:

Playoff implications galore in this one! I called Frongi’s game last week a must win and mocked me, saying the game didn’t matter, because they’ll beat Slow Jams. Well kid, here’s your chance. Slow Jams is coming off a big win against my team last week, where Ouellette proved he’s still an MVP player. Frongi’s team, lost without him at the buzzer, in brutal fashion.

It’s been a brutal season so far for McCusker to the Bahamas, as they McCusker before he could even play a game and they haven’t found their groove since. Waldo is as old and beaten down as he promised, but everyone else’s numbers are up to par. This team just hasn’t been able to jell at all. I’m not sure what the problem is, as I’ve missed most of their games. Looks like a clear case of Franchise B Frongi, ruining BDraft Frongi.

Slow Jams is an easier team to figure out, if Ouellette is there to carry them, they’ll be good and if he isn’t, they’re screwed. The Ouellette and Cawley match-up will be a good one, I think the supporting cast of MTTB has an edge over the Slow Jams supporting cast, since they’re a little quicker and capable of making jump shots. I just can’t bet against Ouellette though.

Slow Jams -4.5 over McCusker to the Bahamas

Those ridiculous championship odds aside, nice preview. Also, your a/c complaint makes you sound like a technologically-illiterate old man.

– Tempus Fuck-it could potentially dominate inside with Haas/Zukic, but even if that happens, I don’t think it’ll offset the advantage KP has with shooting and perimeter talent. I’ll take KP to win and cover.

– Big Ern McCrackins actually have decent personnel to match up with MCHU, but they’ve just been so inconsistent that it’s tough to pick them for the upset. MCHU has squeaked out a couple close ones though, and I think this is the one they finally lose. I’ll take BEM as the upset pick

– With Etheridge out, I’m tempted to take Mt CACmore, but I think Joel is still out too so that’s kind of a wash. But LLHFM looked pretty garbage last week… But Mt CACmore also looked pretty garbage last week. But they did face a top-notch team. I’ll take Mt. CACmore as a minor upset pick here.

–  I will of course take Clown Question Bro to win, and also cover. If Shebertes is back, that’s a slightly different story, but the rumblings I’ve heard lead me to believe he won’t be returning this week. Nate’s been playing great, but I think we can limit him and use our balance to get the win.

– Slow Jams are rolling, and I think they’ll keep on going this week. Frongi is out, and word is that McCusker to the Bahamas will be going to battle with just 4. Cawley will have his hands full with Ouellette, and he’ll need to do an excellent job for them to have a chance. Don’t think they can get it done though, and Slow Jams to win and cover.

Well, I will be turning 30 next month………But still, who the hell can figure out those symbols on the remote. It isn’t like a TV remote, where they spell it out for you.

Might need a sub for the late game. Hit me up if you can play. Must be approved by someone, I guess, or something – whatever.

Harry, find me someone with a pulse.

Slow Jams is willing to be liberal with the substitute players, but it’d help to know which guys are actually going to be present for Frongi’s team.

I know Frongi is out.

Myself, Tommy, and Waldo are in. Frongi is out and Jak hasn’t responded to emails.

Ian Cundall has said he could fill in if needed, since he plays the game before.

Highlights from last night:

KP gave Tempus-Fuck another L and sent them on the road to winless land, on the back of Kap and Sammy

MCHU kept the undefeated dream alive, taking out the Big Ern’s in a good game, until the end.

My team grinded out another W, thanks to the Lefty’s vintage performance.

Lester narrowly missed a triple double in a win over Against All odds, but Shebertes returned!

Slow Jams won a rock fight against McCusker to the Bahamas.

Stats are up, write-ups to follow.
