Attendance Optional 56  The Team. 68

First game of the day and we have The Orlinsky Basketball Team vs Attendance Optional. AO was missing their big man Robel and TOBT was missing everyone except their starting 5. I assumed this game would be a blow out with the lock of subs, as it’s still pretty early in the season, and most guys have not gotten a chance to get their legs back. Boy was I shocked at who was going to be blown out.

Apparently Phil went out drinking the night before, and was not ready to ball this early in the morning, so he kept getting told to try by myself and the fans that bought his jersey after a couple dunks in his first game. I will not issue refunds lol And in Stat’s first game with his team, even tho he did play fairly well, they did in suffer their first loss just as fans thought. Without Robel, there was very little inside/outside game, and the shooters for A.O. were settling for long, contested jumpers instead of taking advantage of the size that was there even as hungover as he was.

The Orlinsky Basketball Team were way too overwhelming, jamil didn’t miss a shot, and even when they did miss Dylan, DJ, and JDM grabbed all the loose offensive rebounds. What was very surprising is the pace that that played with. You would think they would have slowed the pace down with no subs but they hustled for all the loose balls and got easy layups out of it. Will Hudson even tried alil, good to see him getting up and down the court at his age.

Flat Earth Theory 52  Nobody Over 30 84

Last game of the morning, we have 5 guys from Flat Earth Theory taking on the whole roster of Nobody Over 30. This would prove to be quite a task as FET doesn’t have anyone under 30, and with no subs I could see how I got the blowout I thought would happen in the first game.

Flat Earth Theory proved to be quite feisty during their first half play despite going down big fairly early. Definitely not a team, I would want to play in a 1 possession game. That grit would leave them pretty soulless in the second half. Remy had probably his great game in recent memory to give his team some respect as they wait another week for their 1st round pick. Yeakley you
Bum! Washburn and Steeves were hustling the whole game, but it’s tough to give the full 44 minute against a team that plays as well as Nobody Over 30.

N.O. 30 is a well balanced team that looks to be one trade away from sandbagging this whole league. Getting the best skilled big man at #3, and then getting what should have been the #1 overall pick late in the second draft while also getting great contributions from Manbun #2. All jokes aside this team will run you right into the ground. About to get a pelaton just thinking about playing these guys in the playoffs. DTO has to be the best last round pick in this draft. I think he starts lol Will Hudson would give him a run for his money but he doesn’t need to try as hard on his team. Can’t really say they did anything bad in this one. Maybe a lack of boxing out and cherry picking and STILL NOT GETTING TO 100. Cmon man!!!
