    After falling behind early, Splooge McDuck came away with a 52-43 victory over A Team Has No Name.

    A Team Has No Name came out firing and built a 5-0 lead after a three from Musse Kassa before Splooge McDuck rallied to take a 12-11 lead on a free throw for Pat Paulson. The advantage grew to 24-14 on an easy layup for Brett Baghdoyan. Drew DeBari buried a three-point jumper to make it 32-23 at the half.

    In the second half, a layup from Neal Eichenberg made it 48-28 to put this one away. A Team Has No Name cut the deficit to 52-43 with a putback from Ian Rubiano, but it was too late.

    Baghdoyan led the way with 18 points and three steals for Splooge McDuck. DeBari added 17 points and six assists.

    For A Team Has No Name, Kassa scored 13 of his team-high 16 points in the first half.

    Splooge McDuck survives late run against The Monstars

    Splooge McDuck had it going early and often Tuesday night, but had to hold on late to a 51-45 victory over The Monstars.

    A fastbreak layup for Brett Baghdoyan made it a quick 5-0 edge for Splooge McDuck. A Pat Paulson triple made it a 12-5 advantage before a Baghdoyan three made it 21-10. A transition layup from Paulson made it 30-14 for Splooge McDuck as the lead settled in at 32-18 at the half.

    The Monstars came out firing in the second half as the lead was down to 34-26 after a couple free throws for Anthony Catrambone. A two-pointer in the paint from Rashon Givan cut the deficit down to 46-39 and a Givan free throw made it 49-45 late, but it was too late to get back into the contest for the Monstars.

    Baghadoyan led all players with 21 points for Splooge McDuck. Drew DeBari chipped in with 19 points and four assists.

    Rob Knoerl scored a team-high 17 points while grabbing 12 boards for the double-double for The Monstars.

    Careful What You Wish For Upends Shootin Loads

    Careful What You Wish For dominated from the start in a huge 44-35 victory on Tuesday night.

    Careful What You Wish For went up 5-0 on a triple for Luke Bachich. The lead ballooned to 13-2 on a three-point jumper from Jason Katz. A three from Ben Foss cut the advantage to 17-13. Careful What You Wish For pushed it back out to 25-18 at the break.

    Shootin Loads got back into the contest early in the second half and knotted the score 29-29 on a pair of free throws for Jaspreet Mankoo. With the game tied 33-33, Careful What You Wish for went on a 5-0 run to take a 38-33 edge on a three from Katz.

    Bachich led the way with 13 points and three blocks for Careful What You Wish For. Kats added 10 points.

    For Shootin Loads, Foss finished with 12 points.

    A Team Has No Name uses strong second half to take down New Breed

    New Breed kept it close for most of the first half, but couldn't get the offense going in the second half in a 56-37 loss to A Team Has No Name.
    A three-point play for Mike Rogosa made it 13-5 early for A Team Has No Name as he scored 11 of his team's first 13. A putback for Ian Rubiano made it 18-8, but New Breed fought back and cut the deficit to 25-20 at the half with a couple of threes from Amador Moctezuma.
    In the second half, a free throw from Musse Kassa made it 34-24 for A Team Has No Name. The lead grew to 48-32 on a layup for Rubiano. A three from Jim McGuire put this game away at 53-37.
    Rogosa led the way with 16 points and 10 boards for A Team Has No Name. Kevin Gibbons chipped in with 12 points, six assists and six rebounds.
    For New Breed, TJ Souhlaris was the lone scorer in double digits with 11.
