Down Goes Lamarr As Shoot To Thrill Takes Chip
LAMARR 44 Shoot to Thrill 61
It’s the chip and Shoot to Thrill lead by Musse is looking to bring home the win. CJ started the game on fire and has very quick hands getting three early steals along with ten points in 9 minutes. The strong start from Shoot to Thrill makes Lamarr call an early time out to gather themselves. Shoot to Thrill is shooting the ball very well from downtown despite the non-off the glass three from Mike D. Lamarr is struggling to fine some offense and missing open layups is not helping them at all. John is killing his team’s emotional spirits with his great stealing ability but inability to make layups. Lamarr is down big to end the first half and will need a strong come back in the second to win tonight. Musse setup’s a nice play for CJ by calling a quick time out and then another to get the ball to half court but CJ is unable to get the ball off as the time runs out.
Lamarr is making a run behind the offensive shooting of John P. and the offensive rebounding and put backs with Ian M. makes Shoot the Thrill call time out and is now only down by seven. It’s all of a sudden going in the wrong direction for Shoot to Thrill and they need to focus like Musse is imploring his team to do. Well CJ got the message and he stepped big tonight as it looks like no one is playing him at all and Musse is getting him the ball. This and this alone is what ended the championship run for Lamarr so they will need to wait until next season for another chance. As Musse reminded me I did say they probably wouldn’t win another game after the way the won last week. I didn’t factor in CJ would break out his Steve Nash game Look game and kill Lamarr. Good win Shoot To Thrill!!
