The Scurriers 55  The Corporation 66

Pop that Cherry Booooooyz; Corporation will NOT go without a win this season

What a Wednesday night dandy we had on our hands Wednesday night in CTown, nestled between the lovely CTown landmarks such as the Projects, the Tobin bridge, the Liqour store that use to sell me and my friends booze when we were 16.

In the 1st half, the Scurriers looked as though they were going to control this game.  FABI and OB came out the games STREAKIN to the rack, gettin at it like a fat kid to cake.  Not only that, they were making highlight reel plays as Harney had a great no look to a wide open Andy and LEO bombed soome phenomenal treys to get the Scurrier crew up double digits and early.

The Corporation needed an EMT, fast, to stop the bleeding.  The Farnz breathed some life back into the group with a highlight reel around the back dish to Keel to cut the 1st half lead to single digits.  Not only was Keel finishing great looks, he had the Tical Point of the night for getting his OWN offensive rebound 3 straight times before he put it back in.  Stay with it fellas!!!  I never give up on, or off the court.  You would be surprised some of the chicks I can pull just because I never give up...or the pass out on the bathroom floor, but that is neither here nor there.  Mugar did his usual great job running the point, but tonight he done got at it with the offensive rebounding.  I love it when the little guys get in there and mix it up with the big boys.

As the 2nd half started, Ray Ray Riordan and the Farnz heated up big time, blasting away, giving the Corporation their first lead of the game.  Not only that, they were moving the rock beautifully, picking up some hockey assists with their phenomenal outletting and down the court passing.  Things climaxed (ladies please hold your moans), when Lendler (the defensive beast of the night) hit Mugar off a curl to get the Scurriers to call a TO and figure things out.

Again, OB and FABI got it started with some great D, raping and pillaging the rock when it was left unprotected for several Pick-Duces (stl and wide open lay up).  Andy heated up from the block with a great turn around from the post and Harney continued to be the Scurriers best rebounder to help get them back in it.

However,  the Corp would come up with the big plays at the end of the game.  After some FTs by Farnz and Mugar, Ray Ray Riordon drained an AND1 and Bryan came up with a heads up stl in the back court to seal their first victory of the season.

Great game by both crews tonight.

Huskies Roll and the Beat Goes on; Bullz-EYE- square on their undefeated record

The FiHo transfers continue to take CAC by storm as they roll in yet another victory here in lovely CTown or God's Country as I like to call it...if God was a bank robber, OC addict, or a Yuppie.

In the 1st half, Murph introduced himself to the Hitters with ExtreMe prejudice with a couple treys right off the get go (who needs warm up shots?).  But the trey machine can dish the rock as well, as he whipped out a highlight reel around the back dish to Josh "I got a Feva and the only cure is" Morelock.  However, the highlight of the half came when Emma tossed a great oop to Melucci, who was just great all game in the post, showing a great turn around after more shoulder shakes than a Parkinson's patient.

For the Heavy Hitters, Andy was on time and on point as he opened the game with a phenomenal pass to Hallsy for a quick duce and got to the rack with east.  Other highlights for the HH:  Mason's great stl and dish to Tarek for the easiest duce all night and as a team, great offensive rebounding.

In the 2nd half, Hallsy and Aaron found their strokes, shooting a lot better in the half, but the game belonged to the still unbeaten Huskies.

Smitty had a great 2nd half, highlighted by a great up and under move, but I was disappointed to see Emma have a great peel, a wide open lay up, and no Dunk?!?  Should we be calling you Grandma Emma?  Just kidding Emma, Jackie Woods wanted me to send his regards and I obliged.  Nothing but love man.

The Huskies continue to roll and we will look forward to seeing how they play with the bullz-eye on their back week after week.  Definately living up to the hype thus far.

Cold Blooded 81  Big Nice 89

BIG NICE lets the MAC out

Did we go back 5 years? I ask as I talk on the side line with K.SCOTT, he replied. (No the DMAC 5 yrs ago was even better). Well some one drank the youth juice before this one as he was hitting every layup and short jumper of the drive and even when the COLD BLOOD boys played good defense which was all night, It showed that some shots are  just destined to go in. also having that stroke for the NICE was PRESSMAN with his 3/4 3pt shooting(daggers).

Heinold was annoying the nice guys as he kept it close with his 4/8 performance, and then WACHTEL started his air raid going 6/10, but no matter what they did the BLOODED could'nt seem to break that 6 poitn gap. The BIG NICE guys took turns heating up as MAZZ finally warmed up his young old bones and put up 16pts with a key 3stl's, HRKACH played smart and made the extra pass,

But oh oh who left MOLO open? I know it's Moly but yelling MOLO sounds better when he catches a 2 handed alleyoop and throws it down he was looking for more during the game, by the way.

Now on the subject of dunks, big M-Z  went up for a stylish 360 type fast break dunk, but as I blinked I see the foam padding hanging from the back board, and Z on the ground(think sprite commercial) 1 blk for the rim, but that did'nt stop him from trying later on he got a tech for hanging on the rim. back on the ground COHEN led the last push CB had in them with a few 3's and HENDERSON finally sank one 1/6 CONLEY added a few points but the NICE were to nice tonight and take the win.

C.B.S.P.= ZYLINSKI  20PTS/ 10 RBS & DMAC 25 PTS  they both deserved it.

Runnin' Rebels 57  Return of Togs 72

    Return of the CHISE

As we all know CHISE was missing from last weeks big match up-ssssh! I heard it might be a strategic plan, jus kiddin,  but as he showed up today and got a a very smooth DD 20 pts/11rbs and the TOGS formed around him like Voltron, RAHILL had a good night and also hit 4/5 from the line, as a matter of fact the whole team had a good night on the charity stripe going 11/15 which made a difference. The REBELS guards are fun to watch AUSTIN and FELICIANO#25 were in and out striking whenever they seen a open gap. HANNAH was grabbing boards, but had to fight off        K.O and CHISE all night. KELLIHER also helped on the boards, but they needed more offense to keep it close.

I guess they read my mind as in comes BALDWIN for the Rebels even though he had no jersey he came to play and put up 10 pts and with 10 minutes left in the game we were tied at 49 all, but i guess ZERMANI was tired of missing and hit some 3's he was 0/4 before this point and ended up 4/8 not bad. MALCOLM goes back to back from deep 4/6 for the night, TOGS back on top.

Enter BALDWIN brother #2 and he scored 10 pts hey they really must be borthers they both scored 10,  CARSON gets his 3rd steal but the gap was too big and with NAZZ sealing the case on a fast break and HUNTER pushing the rock like the return of Jay -Z , the TOGS win .
