Fall 2019: B2 5v5 League Champs: First Street’s Finest

New Team Get win In Stellar Fashion in Blow Out win Ova Juwanna Men
NEW TEAM NEW PART 2 70 Juwanna Men 41

This is going to be a run and gun game with a lot of three’s being tossed with reckless abandonment and I don’t think anyone care about a percentage tonight. Fri is playing his ass off tonight and is making up the difference from the missing Kelley boys. It’s a battle for the number one and First Street decided to stick around and give New Team New arguably the second-best team in the league according to Mazz. I have to admit this one is not as exciting as I thought it would be looking at an 28 to 21 for New Team going into the half. This should be up more as Juwanna Men struggle to make layups but it’s not too late to make a game out of it so come on’ Juwanna Men.

Time is running out and Mike is going to have to pick it up if he is going to save his team from embarrassment currently being seen from his team. Ok Jon is starting to hit shots but is it to late? There struggles from the three-point line is going to be the killer for them tonight because if you can’t hit a three and your down double digits spells disaster for them. Once it get’s over twenty I’ll be putting away the commentary so stay tuned in. Well that didn’t take long as Robbie steals the ball and gets two of the easies points of the night. With nine minutes left and now almost down thirty it’s time to go home no one needs this embarrassment. Better luck next season Juwanna Men Thank you for your service! Lol

Close But No Win For Parlor Sports As Season Ends

You can tell its playoff time as Ernest sets the pace for Parlor Sports draining two early threes. Franklin is shooting the ball well early too and look good to take as many as he needs tonight to get the win. Garrett is a monster in the post and is eating Parlor sports alive and should as he’s the biggest man on the court. Brian goes strong to the hoop and gets two after missing his first two from downtown. Yancy gets Drew the ball for wide open three. Long pigs call a much-needed time out to regroup and get an easy layup after Drew finds Mike cutting to the hoop, he gets two points. Voel is upset with Ray’s turnovers and stresses that it’s plaguing his career. Little over the top in my opinion but he should tighten up his passing so that it doesn’t hurt his team as much. Nice move to the hoop by Yancy is greeted by a better block by Ray and we are going the other way. Everyone is hype and wants to win this one and with the halftime score 33 to 40 long Pigs it’s going to be a great second half watching Parlor Sports attempt a comeback.

The second half starts with an airball for Ray and a return airball from Drew so someone must have left a window open. Its slowly slipping away from Parlor Sports as late comer Aiden picks up is scoring and pushes the lead into double figures. That was until Ray knocks in another three-pointer stopping the bleeding.  Voel is screaming at his team to pick their intensity and not let up even thou they are down twelve points. Franklin is the reason Voel is confident that his team still has a chance as he strokes three 3 pointers. Brain is screaming Parlor Sports is not leaving the lane and should be called for 3 seconds but Voel says to him stop your complaining Lol. Great comeback for Parlor Sports but Drew would put the game away from the line as all they could do is foul and hope that they could stop the clock enough to catch-up. Game over Long Pigs win.

No AJ No Problem For AB Alums Over Vandelay

Its win or go home time and AB Alums don’t seem to have their go to guy tonight (Where is AJ??). It’s been bombs away from three-point land from both teams, but no one seems to have found the range yet. What I do know is that Vandelay better find some other way to score are find themselves victim of a Semi-final loss. We know that Held is going to bang you in the post and impose his will and dominate in the paint. If Daniel would ever get his foot work together this team would have a nice two headed monster and would destroy most of these teams. But that is not the case for tonight so AB Alums must lean more on Billings but early that doesn’t look so promising.

Second half starts and Vandelay still has not hit a three pointer but that is not stopping them from trying. This might be their undoing because if something is not working you have found something that is and Vandelay has not learned this lesson yet. To Wally credit he did attempt to drive to the hoop and get two points but missed one that I’m sure he wish he could have back. It appears to me that Vandelay has given up on trying to win this one and we still have 12 minutes left to play. The score and clock now working against them they need to put up points quickly and Max is still playing hard but that is not enough. No AJ No Problem AB Alums take out Vandelay without issue in a very physical game.

Nothing To See Here As First Street Smash 44 Minutes In 22 Minutes

Game has not started yet but the Ref and I have summed up it’s going to be a long night for 44 Minutes but if they play well they will win. Rodier is not happy with the seating First Street got as he claims “No way they are a four seed!” Great look by Eric to Ryan roaming on the baseline he gets an easy two points. If you have never seen First Street play before you need to know they shoot the three very well and you can’t leave them open at all. How many times are we going to see the pick and pop from Ryan to Mazz and Mazz hit’s a three? Are the people on 44 Minutes watching the same game I am? This is a dress rehearsal for a blow out in the second for First Street. Que the Fat Lady that bitch is up next for 44 Minutes. Come on’ guys you can’t let this be the last game of the season, right? Nine minutes left in the first half and First street has a nine-point lead looking for more. This one is going the way of expensive garage time but I’m really hoping that 44 minutes will fine someone with a hot hand.

Farmer is having a good rebounding night and is moving Zak around a little in the post showing he is too big for him to be stopped. Maybe 44 minutes should be go to this option more often and the score wouldn’t look this bad. Once the final score is tallied and 44 Minutes look back on what went wrong with this one they shouldn’t point the finger at Griffin as he was a beast doing a hell of a job in the post and even hit a three the only three the entire team would make. Great drive and spin more by Eric to close this one out but wait we still have more then six minutes left of this blow out. Correction Delaney would hit a three for 44 minutes in the closing minutes so Griffin is no longer the only one to hit a three for them but don’t think anyone is celebrating that at this point. This one is over First Street wins again.
