It\'s playoff season across the CAC leagues! Francis Plaise aka Frank Champ here covering the Women\'s 4v4 League. In 2 weeks we will crown a W4v4 champion! But first we have to figure out which 2 teams will be there.

The second semi-final and final game of the night had #2 Putting Baby In A Corner taking on #3 Grand Theft Rondo. Tony the Janitor still had the duty of being our referee, but that was one of the lesser stories in this game. What was more important was the absence of some key GTR players. Out of the lineup was MacDougal and Pierce. MacDougal was out with a leg injury suffered two weeks ago and the scrappy inside presence was missed from Pierece\'s absence. This left GTR with 3 shooters and PG Masys. 

PBIAC started off hot, with a 12-3 lead, as GTR was slowly dying by the 3 as all the perimeter players were doing what they did all season. Without MacDougal and Pierce in the lineup, it was free reign in the middle for ladies like Sanders and Forzano. Heck even Baran had a monster night of 14 rebounds which helped her achieve a triple double! PBIAC was clicking on all cylinders as GTR was having trouble hitting shots all half. This allowed PBIAC to put up a 20 point lead with 11 minutes to go. It was already ugly by the half as PBIAC was up 57-22. Baran\'s 7 assists along with Sanders 16 points and 8 rebounds were some of the key marks on the PBIAC side, while shooting 4-13 from beyond the arc was one of the reasons why GTR was down.

The second half was just more of a blowout, as GTR looked like the equivalent of Brazil in the World Cup Semi-Finals. They had no interest in playing defense, they seemed defeated. Masys was the only player who showed any emotion the entire night on her team\'s side. She was fired up trying to get her team back into the game but it was to no avail. It was all PBIAC all half and they wound up breaking the century mark to win to the tune of 111-48. Congrats to them as they take on the #1 seeded and undefeated REBOOT in the championship game next week!
