The (B Draft) 4v4 League is by far the most popular Draft League in the C.A.C. Basketball community as it heads into its 34th season. All teams will be made up of players who like to play basketball, get a run in and to push themselves athletically. All games are played at Cambridge Athletic Club with our new Covid Policies.

This is the 20th season of the Saturday Draft League and it’s hard to imagine CAC Basketball without everyone’s favorite weekend rumble. We will again be playing late enough in the morning to give any booze hounds the chance to wake up and still make it to their games. This is another great draft league that is open to ALL players! All games are played at Cambridge Athletic Club with new Covid Guidelines.
Starts May 6th
The Franchise B League will run for the 13th season on Wednesday nights and will be open for players that want the unique experience of the Franchise League at more of a ‘B Draft’ skill level on the court and the offseason will be filled with many decisions for the captains that have to manage payroll, add new players and possibly even make trades or cut players. Individual players in this league earn a ‘salary’ that counts against their captain’s salary cap. Players have the option of playing on the same team for multiple seasons, giving everyone in the league a new layer of strategy and commitment.
Wednesday or Thursday nights
Starts May 6th or 7th
The B1 5v5 League is entering its 34th season of CAC Basketball play and will once again be played on Wednesday nights at the Cambridge YMCA or Thursdays at the Kennedy-Longfellow School. It’s a popular and long lasting league because there are many basketball players that want a great, competitive league, but aren’t former D1 all-stars. The league is incredibly competitive and rosters are loaded with former college players and high school standouts.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday nights
Starts Week of May 4th
The 5v5 (B2) league is the most popular C.A.C. Basketball league! It’s played on FOUR different nights spread across multiple locations in Cambridge, and Somerville! Teams choose the night they play on, as long as there is availability. This league is for the the “Average Joe” basketball player that wants a competitive run, but without the high level of skill (teams don’t have college players, or really, really tall guys) that the 5v5 (A) or (B1) leagues present.
Monday or Wednesday Nights
Starts May 4th & 6th
C.A.C. Basketball is proud to offer the Corporate League on two nights of the week for the SPRING 2020 season. There’s also an A and B division to choose from! If you’re looking to get a group of co-workers together for a little team bonding or just to have some fun, the C.A.C. Corporate League is what you’re looking for. These leagues are well established with a great group of teams (some co-ed), players and staff every season.

We’re going to continue to build on both the popularity of the daily “Lunch Pickup Runs” to bring back the league last run during the Fall 2017 season, the Lunch League! It’s a league specifically for players that can play during the week in the afternoon at C.A.C. This will be one of our ‘Average Joe’ leagues, and everyone is welcome to play! Like all our leagues, we strive to make them competitive within each division of play. We are offering a special introductory rate for players that sign-up for the Lunch League! Players will be able to play in this league for just $100, that’s 33% off the price of any other C.A.C. Basketball league!

We are a third of the way through the B2 season, and we have 4 teams at 2-1 in this stacked league. Even Kar-chun Network, who lost Donald Breault early in the season to a knee injury (who still expects to come back this season), has looked solid despite their 0-3 record. For this post, […]
