This will be the third straight season of the 5v5 Draft league to be played on Tuesday nights. We're still planning on playing at the Healey School, but that's pending approval from Somerville. Shouldn't be an issue, but it's not set in stone.
This is still a league with a ton of turnover, as the first 2 seasons of the league saw a TON of new names and faces. Hopefully with the solid league coverage (thanks Ian and Jesse!) and your desire to play 5v5, we start to form a solid nucleus of a league as we head into the Fall 2012 season, again, the third for the 5v5 Draft League.
I like the 6 team set-up, so that's what we're going to stick with. The odds of pushing it to 8 this season (64 players) is pretty slim, so let's set our sights on 48 PAID players before the draft, that'd be nice, especially with the way Ian drafts. Cost to play for the upcoming season is $150.

I think we need to look at the captains, if Cousins and Al want to be captains that is fine but then it should be all first rounders as captains (aka not me).

if we get to 8 teams (good chance the way sign-ups are going so far) there's a 100% chance you're drafted in the first round mr 20 ppg
There's a slight chance I may be out of this league. I'll let you know ASAP but for now I'm still in.

I'm just noticing this board for the first time hahaha. I was beginning to experience 5v5 Draft withdrawal. Finally getting my fix hahaha. There are a ton of new names on that list
I think we should all be renamed with old timey type baseball names like 'Oil Can Boyd' or 'Old Hoss Radbourn'. Seems like the logical move. It'll make the teams look more interesting.

Don't worry, pre draft podcast or video or something will be out in the next couple weeks once the league is full and we set the number of teams.

Sounds awesome man! The season can't come fast enough.
It's kinda lookin like we can get 8 teams in there. That'd be so sick! There are guys like T-Mac, Tariq, Gorynski etc that aren't even on that list.

What's up Terry! Yes much to the chagrin of my teammates I have gone to Cacs worst jumpshooter. Less black eyes and broken noses but also less atta boys.
Since allegedly violating the "derek zoolander ridiculously good looking" rule and got my captaincy revoked, i hope theres a legit lottery for first pick and it goes to Cousins. If cousins and I were on the same team we'd win every week with 4. Facts.
