Millrats wins big in championship over Boneyard

The Millrats are once again A 5v5 champions with the 71-54 victory over Boneyard on Tuesday night.
Boneyard started off hot and held a 3-0 edge after a three-point point from Greg Lacasse. Millrats quickly erased the deficit and took a 21-11 lead on a shot from Isaiah Duke. Boneyard came storming back with a 13-4 run to cut the lead to 25-24 after a three-point basket from the top of the arc for Lacasse. Millrats ended the half on a 5-1 run to take the 30-25 halftime advantage.
In the second half, Boneyard tried to come back and cut the lead to 38-32 with a 7-0n run, but the lead was pushed to 46-32 after a steal and layup from Radio Singleton. Boneyard kept fighting and eventually got the lead to 55-46 with a Chris Baudinet three-point shot. A 14-5 run capped off by a three-point play from Brandon Ball that made it 69-51 ended the season for Boneyard late in the second half.
Rob William-Hinton led all scorers with 16 points on 4-of-8 shooting from distance. Singleton added 14 points and knocking down 6-of-7 free throws.
Lacasse also finished with 16 points, but he also blocked three shots and grabbed 11 rebounds for the double-double.
