Winter 2013: B Draft League Champs: Mustard Gas

Sams team of Destiny continues title run
    FlynnStones 60 Destiny's Children 64

     20:00
    - Rico seems genuinely excited for this game. I think he\'s aware that this is the \"biggest game of Sam\'s life.\"

    - Jesse is pumped, too. Maybe too-excited, he attempts a tough fader on his first touch and misses the rim. Like the aggression, tho.

    Some interesting matchups early on:
    Flynn on MC3.

Strange has taken Max, I expect him to sag on everything.
    Jacob on Strange.

    - Some confusion on the defensive end has led to some easy points for Destiny\'s Children, led 10-5.

    - MC3 with the three-point play, the Flynnstones seem ok with it. Or just apathetic, I don\'t know.

    - Sam just blocked the shit out of Jesse. Jesse scores on the next possession. Annnnd again. Sam will have to do a better job of fighting for position.

    - Strange knocks down the jumper, the Flynnstones look exhausted, but it\'s Destiny calling the timeout. Their lead has been cut to one. It\'d help if they could make a layup, they\'ve missed a ton.

    - Glumac is here! And the lead is with the Flynnstones.

    10:00
    - Jacob still guarding Strange with two fouls. You can feel the third coming soon.

    - It\'s dangerous in the paint, right now. EVERYONE is crashing the glass. Looks painful. Burridge is so good at grabbing those boards.

    - Destiny leads 30-29 at half.

    --Second Half:

    - Solid three minutes from Sam in the first half. That kid is the worst.

    - Jesse is guarding Mc3. This could be good.

    - Strange hits a three, pushes lead to five, HUGE three from MC3 to match...But Strange hits another.

    - Jacob picks up his fourth foul. Uh oh. This means Sam HAS to play.

    10:00
    - Sam immediately makes an impact. Knocks down a three

(after Max\'s hustle extended the possession) and finishes layup on the next trip. Destiny leads again.

    - ONE more three from Sam! Flynn and Jesse aren\'t on the same page defensively. Who\'s hedging? Switch? Don\'t switch?

    - Jesse just mixed the shit out of MC3. Missed the layup and the two FTs that followed. But still. Put that  on a mixtape.

    - Jesse breaks out the hook on Sam, he\'s TOO STRONG. Lead to back up to five.

    3:00
Flynnstones close to pulling away. Royal with the bucket and the foul, lead extends to five, but Royal misses the FT.

MC3 connects on an ENOUMOUSLY important three, cuts the lead down to two. He isn\'t the best shooter around, but he hits them when it counts.

Strange\'s floater is off the mark, Destiny has a chance to tie, or take the Lead. Some nifty ball movement finds burridge wideopen in the corner. Why not, right? Swish. Destiny takes the lead.

A failed possession for the Flynntones leads Burridge to the line, makes both, lead to three.

Jacob with some great defense on Strange, sent to the line for the 1&1. Knocks down both!

HUGGGGE rebound Jacob, back to the line, misses. Strange\'s three ends an 11-0 run from Destiny, cuts lead to two, 62-60. Burridge gets sent back to the line, hits both. So clutch, ends the night 9-10 from the line, and 1-1 from deep.

The celebration for Destiny\'s children seemed reserved, maybe they feel like they stole one, maybe they just want more.
