Oh Yeah NWO Advances Free Throws The Key
    Cleary Club 47 N.W.O. 48

In a game that saw more fouls than a chicken ranch (and I am not talking about the good kind either), it came down to freebies (35 of them in a 36 minute game to be exact) and very simply ñ NWO hit them, and CC did notÖI could end it there, but I have other things to sayÖ Quinten Walsh didnít make a huge dent in the stat sheet, but bodying up Phil and keeping him off the offensive glass was another key to the gameÖcan somebody tell CO that the womenís league plays on Sunday nights?ÖMike D hit a huge three ball down the stretch to I think either tie it or get his team within 1ÖMeyer continues to be a dominating presence in the paint and alters just about everyoneís gameÖeven Danamalís, but his game was already altered by the fan in attendanceÖwhat a huge team CC has, even without Captain America Ken Cleary who I guess suffered a leg injury at the hands of the Axis PowersÖanyone else think that Walsh has a smoking gun on Belicheck?...CC missed the calming presence of Double Krunch Kris KonosianÖCO nailed three freebies with .2 seconds to play to tie the game and send it to OTÖclutch!!!!!!!!!!....not sure how they were even in position to tie the game, og right, forgot, missed freebies by CCÖNWO gets arch rival Matty O and Genzyme in the B2 North FinalÖshould be a great gameÖand please get the time correct on the websiteÖalso always good to check it game dayÖ.

NWO Dominates Joe's, On a Roll

Pete D just reminded me I forgot to do a  writeup for this game...coincidentally, he had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blokcs one of his best games since town team...NWO was all over the Joe's from start to finish and I cant say the Joe's were ever in this one...even though Jake's presence would have been welcomed, I am not sure how much difference it would have made given the way NWO was shooting...I am so scared of Lebron in the playoffs, but my TV won't be moving from TNT until June...Danny O also had a great game with 16 and 11, wait, way better than pete, but he didn't complain, so he gets second billing...and Spaeth was frustrated all night by Danny O and EBrown's D, but then again, who wouldn't be...Kessel had a nice game and I wonder if he is related the the Bruins guy?...a successful season by any metric for the Joe's as they exceeded expectations for sure...hope to see them next season even though it is softball weather...NWO faces Cleary Club in about 5 minutes...not sure who won the 530 game because I cant find the stats and I just got here...well, I stopped at Boca of course...shouldbe a dogfight, whcih are always fun to ref...expect at least one technical foul...I guarantee it...time is now 7:29...

Big State has Big Second Half to Win

Another team fell victim to the big Morse court last night as Big State's second half run put an end to Serenity Now's season.  The first half was all about Serenity while Big State just couldn't get anything to fall.  They had full control of the tempo of the game and were patient on offense to get good shots.  Tommy led the way with 10 in the half and the Good King tossed in 8 while Big State was as silent as O'Cal's phone on a Friday night.  I don't know what they talked about during half time but Big State got it going early in the 2nd.  I filled up the note section on the stat sheet keeping track of JRed's scoring spree as he was responsible for nearly every point during their comeback.  After only 6 first half points by the time they had taken the lead in the game 34-30, he had scored 17/19 points in just 12 minutes.  This game featured a classic lineup between Freddie and Roy, who apparently also went to the same high school.  This time, Freddie got the upper hand as he held Roy to only 6 points, probably his lowest total on the season.  Unfortunately for them though, Big State started to wear them down and Serenity couldn't get a shot to fall.  They went nearly 8 minutes without a point until Biggins broke the quiet streak at the 4 minute mark.  He came up with a 3 pointer with 30 seconds to go to put them within 2 but JRed hit his foul shots and Big State came away with the win.  Unfortunately, Serenity only had one good half in them last night and Big State took advantage in the 2nd to end their season.
