Oh Yeah NWO Advances Free Throws The Key
    Cleary Club 47 N.W.O. 48

In a game that saw more fouls than a chicken ranch (and I am not talking about the good kind either), it came down to freebies (35 of them in a 36 minute game to be exact) and very simply ñ NWO hit them, and CC did notÖI could end it there, but I have other things to sayÖ Quinten Walsh didnít make a huge dent in the stat sheet, but bodying up Phil and keeping him off the offensive glass was another key to the gameÖcan somebody tell CO that the womenís league plays on Sunday nights?ÖMike D hit a huge three ball down the stretch to I think either tie it or get his team within 1ÖMeyer continues to be a dominating presence in the paint and alters just about everyoneís gameÖeven Danamalís, but his game was already altered by the fan in attendanceÖwhat a huge team CC has, even without Captain America Ken Cleary who I guess suffered a leg injury at the hands of the Axis PowersÖanyone else think that Walsh has a smoking gun on Belicheck?...CC missed the calming presence of Double Krunch Kris KonosianÖCO nailed three freebies with .2 seconds to play to tie the game and send it to OTÖclutch!!!!!!!!!!....not sure how they were even in position to tie the game, og right, forgot, missed freebies by CCÖNWO gets arch rival Matty O and Genzyme in the B2 North FinalÖshould be a great gameÖand please get the time correct on the websiteÖalso always good to check it game dayÖ.

    CAC: Where A-Musing Happens!

This is my new style of write-up as I am quite bored with the old style. And it gives you what you really want - acces to my stream of consciousness, your own personal Eternal Sunshine of the Wolverine Mind:

I am so sick of waiting for Mike D to show up on time for our games...please note that next season NWO will have all 5:30 games at the Morse...some of you may have heard I was spotted in Southern California last weekend...these rumors are not true and the pictures have been fabricated...I was at the Mayflower Hotel in DC traveling with my friend Elliot...EFPG Matty O is being taken for granted by this league and its media...I feel partially responsible...for the record, he is still Everybody's Favorite Point Guard even though I never spell it out anymore...except that time...Pete D has turned into an offensive menace, combining threes with post up moves...if he only he had a 2nd serve...I am still so pleased with myself about the Carrot Hop nickname for Lawson...it is perfect...I am also pretty sure he has perfected taking a three, having it fall short on purpose, and getting his own board for the lay-in...if Danny O keeps complaining to me constantly, I am going to stop sending him to the line!...I'd still marry Britney...a frantic 2nd half run with 8 minutes to play, capped off by a huge Mike D baseline jumper (his only field goal of the 2nd half), tied the game with 30 seconds to play...after waiting just long enough for the last shot, G-Unit dumped it into Bob Muse in the post and his baseline bankshot was good...clutch, who need Kmiec...Maryanne caught with marijuana? What's next, the Professor getting caught with HGH?...NWO may have waited just one minute too long to start turning up the defense...where have you gone, CO?...I think I heard Mike D on the way out yelling at his team "PLAYOFFS? YOU KIDDING ME? PLAYOFFS?"...

Have Faith in Spaeth, the Joes Pull Through

Even though I feel a little hurt that I haven't been involved in any workplace email chains lately from the Average Joes, I still enjoy scoring their games.  So I'll still give them writeup love, even though they show me none, I guess its just a one way street and not everything in life is fair, *tear*.  They have this tendency to let their opponents think they have a shot and just when they are about to pull ahead, bam, the Joes come back and win.  Apparently they like the challenge of close games and hey they are fun to watch(with the exception of the first 7 minutes when it was 4-4, come on people!) so its okay by me.  For MC, Carl(14 points, 12 rebounds) was hot in the first with 10 points mainly on offensive rebounds as he was doing some damage inside.  The Kopter came off the bench for 9 first half points as the Joes were up 23-18 at the half.

All the sudden things get crrrrazzzzyyy in Morse as More Cowbell's run continues to 12-3 and they are trailing by just one at 18 minutes.  Spaeth is making bricks like Dunkin is makin donuts and the Joes are at risk of letting this one slip away.  Micah was unstoppable driving hard to the hoop and Romaine was playing stifling defense getting steals and passing to his teammates in transition for easy buckets.  The Joes were getting outrebounded in a rare turn of events and looking flat.  But of course as soon as the fear of losing set in, Sparkles finally hits one, mind you a bank shot, but apparently it was motivation as Kessell clanked in another 3 off the glass just minutes later.  The backboard was his friend as he did it yet again seconds later and they took their lead back with just 6 minutes to go.  Spaeth found his shot and Jake the Snake was getting to the foul line and hitting buckets of his own.  Micah fouled out with 2 minutes to go and with MC down 5.  This was pretty much the last chance they saw to come back and beat the Joes.  As time dwindled, the Joes lead grew off some great foul shooting and they ended up winning by 8 after a close game throughout.

Are You Ready For Some Football?

This is my new style of write-up as I am quite bored with the old style. And it gives you what you really want - access to my stream of consciousness, your own personal Eternal Sunshine of the Wolverine Mind:

Wow, what a dogfight this one wasÖ.lots of big bodies, but is there a bigger front line that Scialdini, Dillon and Clement?Öthis was more like a football game than a basketball game, which was partially my faultÖsome of you may have heard I was spotted in Southern California last weekend...these rumors are not true and the pictures have been fabricated...I was at the Mayflower Hotel in DC traveling with a few girls with loose morals and my good friend Elliot...Cleary Club was my pre-season #1 I think, but they havenít shown their true potential just yetÖnot sure why b/c they definitely have the talent, even without Meyer on the floorÖmaybe some passing drills, like the 3 man weave?...Bigshot is one of my favorite players, but he really needs to work on his free throws!Öshould have really been two flagrant fouls rather than just one as my #1 job is to make sure nobody gets hurt unnecessarilyÖBermont should try to use treats to get his dog to poop when he is thereÖCaptain America Ken has lost a good 20 pounds and is head to head with Bigshot for CACís version of the Biggest LoserÖSN showed some real guts down the stretch to pull this one out, especially The Good King, whoís tenacity almost exploded his own headÖCC could have benefited from some crisp passing down the stretch tooÖstill waiting for my yellow Cleary Club t-shirtÖ
