Spring 2014: Co-Ed 5v5 League Champs: Dribblin’ In the Box

    Dribblin Takes Championship Game in High-Scoring Duel
    Dribblin' in the Box 76 Thunder Buddies 4 Life 67

    Both teams showed up for the championship ready to play. There was no shortage of scoring in this game. TB4L were led by the scoring power of Chris Burke and Mike Strange. Burke led the team with 23 points and 6 assists. Burke also grabbed 5 rebounds. Strange finished the game with 21 points and cleaned up on the boards with 12 rebounds to complete a double-double. TB4L saw help from Jason Baldwin who dropped 11 points. Laura Jasinski added 4 points. TB4L went into halftime down 37-32. Everytime it appeared that TB4L was making a push, Dribblin’ made another big shot.

    Dribblin’ was led by Carson Kersyrom-Lang who had a game-high 26 points and 14 rebounds. Kristin Ingala had the hot-hand, making 5/9 from downtown and finishing the game with 19 points. Junior Sainival also had a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Sainival and Lang brought the inside threat while Ingala was hitting shot after shot. Dribblin’ got help from Aubree Giarusso who scored 7 points while Matt Connor banged on the boards, pulling down 8 rebounds.
