Championship action without me behind the whistle...Does it get any better? 

The start of the game was a tad shaky and for obvious reasons with Billy Durbrow on the sidelines distracting all you young ladies out there.  Once his aura wore old, the ladies got to business and put forward a championship worthy effort.

In the first half, the Head Hunters dominated as playoff MVP, LJay had the hot hand early, sticking jumper after jumper for the capacity crowd and camera man. I asked LJ before the game which was her good side for the camera and, like a true playoff MVP, she responded "Ocal, when i play a chamionship game there aint a bad side on me."  Her game backed up the qoute I made up for her as she had the Head Hunters up double digits early.

With the offenses struggling at times, it became a matter of which team could control the glass.  Conroy and Dayo battled all night on the glass as each led their crews with the dirty work that needed to be done.

In the second half, the CAC Blockers were down double digits when the RainMaker hoiseted the ladies on her back and carried them back in the game.  3 after 3 found the bottom of the net with lube like ease as the Rainmakers treys and Amanda's tough finishes in the paint gave CAC a one point lead. 

However, LJ, Ash and Magic would go to the free throw line, each contributing a point here and there to give the Head Hunters the late lead.  With buckets as hard to come by as an unawkward pre-game interview, the FTs were all the Head Hunters needed to seal the deal and take home the championship.  Well done ladies.
